Default Performance: Intake improvement

Posted this before but think it needs a separate thread:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/showpost.php?p=223580&postcount=42

I would guess that this could bring 10 to maybe 20 extra horses top end, but it needs to be tested first on a flow bench to be sure that it does deliver.

To make it work, it would need to be precision welded, which I am not able to, however I have the full parts which I am willing to donate if someone can have it tested on a flowbench before and after the inserts that needs to be welded.

Hi Avos, looking forward to you releasing a twin screw blower with modified throttle body w/tube. What plugs should we run in our STR's? Be well and thank you for your interest in the STR.

This proposed intake modification would be for any STR, not specificaly for a TS conversion at all. I think it could already provide extra power wihtout having to spin the eaton faster, but the more air you are sucking thru the better the effect.

I am still using NGK iridiums however 1 heat range colder for the extra power above stock.

PS For the TS conversion I am contemplating a totaly new intake but that nothing to do with what is proposed here.

Thanks Avos. As I am, I'm sure the STR's will be monitoring your progress.

For the AJ27 and AJ34 XKRs the kit is ready, just need to test a AJ26 (which will be soon).
for the Stype it depends on the intake route, as that will determine the design of the SC fixings/connections heavily.

Nada...nothing. Sure would be great to fit a twin screw (100+ hp and trq.) if/when it does.
