Default performance problem

Hi all

i have a 54 plate s type 2.7 diesel. Everything has been fine until last week when I was driving home. Engine was at temp as normal when I went to accelerate no power. Looked down at dash and I had performance restricted
problem being there were no warning lights on anywhere just the message

turn it off and back on it was fine. 8 later exactly the same thing

car had major service and cam belt 4!weeks ago by a local jaguar master tech

no faults on them cars on board diagnostics and I can't get me obd2 reader to talk to the car

any ideas

thamks

Which obdII device are you using because I have had problems with an elm327 version 2, it worked on some cars but not on others.
So just see if you can get another score reader and try that.

I would start by looking at the battery, it has to be 12.6 volts. then I would go to the fuel trims

They might show you if something is not right, The long term fuel trims have to be around+ or - 20% from the 0 line to set a code so if it different from that it may show that you have a problem

You have to start the engine. The short term will fluctuate that is normal, it's the long term that are of interest

Hi,
I use this program http://www.outilsobdfacile.com/software-eobd-facile-elm327.php
Test version.
I set it up to use the graphs in additional features.
then I use the short-term bank 1 ((lambda sensor) long-term 02 sensor bank 1

I also set it up to read the bank 2 at the same time.

watch this video and it help you understand what you are looking at.
