I have a 2003 S-type and I've never tried to use the power plug in underneath the radio/A/C and next to the shift knob. I'm confused because I've tried recently to plug in an Ipod converter as well as a charger for my cell phone, but to no avail. Is there any recourse for the this? Is there anyway I can fix it myself? also can anyone give me a price range for fixing it?

Are you trying it with the car turned on? They only work with the ignition on.

Check your fuses first before taking it to any shop. They'll rip you a new ******* for a $1 fuse.
