Default porting the eaton sc any real gains?

Ok so I know this has been covered before, but I'm a bit confused on if it really is worth it since I've read posts that it does nothing at all, and others that say they have had 15-20 hp gains. I know I had a gain on cobra of 25whp but what about the str?

I'd also like to know if porting the blower will do good. I'd imagine it would due to both the Cobra and STR sharing the same blower (Eaton M112). Some here have ported but don't seem enthusiastic?

This is one of those hot button topics. Either you are in the camp or our aren't. From all the posts here and on Mustang Cobra/Lighting sites, it doesn't seem to add power (might even decrease the amount of boost). But I would do everything else first before I tried this one.

Default Wait for the Twin Screw Blower

Ditto to Mike. Somewhere on the horizon there may be an intake manifold adaptor to fit a twin screw on the STR = 200 chp. without any other mods. Forum member, Avos, transplanted a 4.2 with a twin screw blower into his 2000 XKR. With stock exhaust and ECU, it belts out 635 chp.

Yes. He must fabricate an adaptor to allow the TS to bolt onto the intake manifold. We're also trying to coax Buckhead Import Performance (Atlanta, GA.) to fabricate a TS adaptor. They've worked on blown Jags. Please check earlier posts from them. You'll see the development of a 700 chp TS for a customers 4.0 s/c 2001 XJR.

licifer, we've hinted to BIP via posts to develop an adaptor for a TS blower. Send them a message or better yet, call.
