I miss long road trips. Too bad that I'm so far away.

Mafioso, you'll be overwhelmed with glee when you sit behind the wheel after your handed the keys. The STR was my dream car and when "it" happened I was so excited. I did drive her hard most of the way home, beating up a 368 hp 09 Hemi Dodge Challenger on the way. Use and take care of her. Good Luck.

Then take her to a dyno-tune shop for an ECU tune= another 25+ hp & trq. for $1200. Congratulations!

I would like to see how this effects the performance of the vehicle... 0-60 1/4 mile times

bdelgros, I run a stock pulley (1.5 Mina Gallery pulley going in this weekend) with a full custom Magnaflow exhaust, and a K&N filter. She sounds and runs mean. The Magnaflow hi-flow cats, Magnaflow x-pipe, 2 1/2" pipe, and Magnaflow mufflers uncorked a huge bottleneck to flow resulting in a considerable improvement in throttle response, hp, and trq. I'm estimating 425+ hp @ 430+ lbs trq. If a stock STR can run 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds and the 1/4 mile between 13.1 and 13.5 seconds, I bet my 03 STR can run 0-60 mph in approx. 4.9 seconds or less and a 12.9 or better 1/4 mile. Adding the 1.5 pulley may produce another 25+ hp and trq. An eventual ECU tune may conger out another 20+ hp and trq. I'm betting an STR can develop 475+ hp @ 525+ lb/ft trq without a blower port and polish. Eventual improvements in hardware and programming will produce 4.5 sec. 0-60 mph and 12.5 sec. 1/4 mile STR's.

Mafioso, I told you you'de be surprised by the STR's juice. Now imagine a K&N air filter, 1.5 pulley, ECU tune, and opening up the exhaust.... Have a safe and enjoyable return trip back to the Lone Star State.
