I currently have all those parts either on order or being built (minus the blower ported, I'm waiting for the coolant connector to fail before I pull it), plus the lowering springs .

These were some of mine that would be neat today

64 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible
65 GTO
71 Chevy Caprice
71 Camaro Z28
73 Z28
77 Z28

Quartzstr, what was going on with all those front end and side swipe jobs? Havin' a "Dukes of Hazzard" moment? Yer especially gunna luv the 3 lb pulley mod. This'll put the wide grin on ya when ya punch it...a whole bunch of bottom end torque, like she sprouted 3.73 gears, which by the way is the basis of my argument that the present ratio plus a Quaife LSD would be sufficient.

The 740iL was hit when I was going straight through an intersection with a green light. An on-comer decided that would be a perfect time to make a left turn into me. 17 year old chick, 3rd accident that was her fault.

The Benz was a hit and run in the parking lot at my work. I came out from work and found it like that, no note or witnesses. Glad I have full coverage insurance.

A LSD would be nice, especially with shorter gears. Maybe one day! I am looking forward to the mods, as you can see my cars don't stay stock for long .

Too many to recall in more than 42 years of driving, but here are the ones that made me smile:

1. 1969 Oldsmobile Delta 88 four-door sedan with the 455 cubic-inch Rocket V8. My first car, a hand-me-down from my mom. The "rolling living room" that got me through college. It was fast and comfortable, and the massive back seat was legendary throughout the girls' dorms....

2. 1974 Datsun 260Z. My first new car. I kept that car for more than 13 years and 285,000 miles. Even at 6-feet-7, one of the most comfortable cars I have ever owned. Drove it all over the East Coast. Wish I had it back in showroom condition....

3. 1986 Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Spider convertible. Way too tall for that car, but it was just a toy for my wife and me. Kept it 6 years but only put 15,000 miles on it. It was timelessly gorgeous....

4. 1988 Jeep Cherokee 5-speed 4WD. My second Jeep, and probably my favorite....

5. 1989 Acura Legend L 5-speed. A rare manual Legend. A fantastic car that spent its first 5 years as my wife's daily driver, its next 4 years as my daily driver, and then became a hand-me-down to our daughter. It was in the family for 13 years....

6. 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2-litre V8 AWD. Our first Grand Cherokee and my wife's daily driver for 5 years. A real workhorse that was always solid as a rock....

7. 1998 Dodge Durango 5.9-litre V8 4WD. A beast that was my daily driver for 4 years. I loved that fast, powerful SUV....

Current vehicles are my beloved 1999 Dodge Ram 5.9-litre V8 1500-series pickup, my wife's 2004 Lexus RX330 AWD, our 2005 S-Type 3.0 that I have essentially claimed for myself, and my wife's recently-acquired 2006 XK8 Victory Edition convertible that has become her daily driver and is truly the only vehicle that she wants to drive now....
