Default Problem with thermostat i think?

My boyfriend an I have a 2003 s-type v8 rwd sedan and the ohter day our radator got hot n started leaking water. there isnt a hole in the radator it still holds water but the problem is where the t/house is theres a pipe that comes out under the it by the engine where the water just runs out? My boyfriend blow through the radator and the water came out that hole? neways we found a cap and its the same size as the hole and looks like it goes there. need help finding out what its calledand what might be wrong. will post pics when i have them uploaded

Ok ps2rabbit, we await the pics. In the meantime, hang in there and perhaps clean your PC's keys...they're kinda've compounding every other word in your post.

Ok sorry it took so long but i was having trouble with getting the pics on my computer. ok so the 1st on is a frount view of the t/house and where the tube is the 2nd is what we think goes on the tube and the 3rd is the tube? if anybody can tell me what the name of it is and what might be wrong or how to fix it would be great! please and thank you

YOU NEED THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING, THE COMPLETE ASSEMBLY THAT PLUG IS PLASTIC WELDED IN AND NOT "SUPPOSED" TO COME OUT. I JUST SOLD MY LAST ONE I HAD IN THE GARAGE TO ANOTHER MEMBER HERE(AT LEAST I THINK IT WAS THE LAST )

thanks now all we have to do is get the part and see bout putting it back together and seeing if it works.
