Hi guys, I am possibly needing a radiator . Yuk.

It has been awhile since anyone posted about them buying and changing a rad.

My car is an 06 STR. The last info I can find is from former member Searanch and all the fun he had with his.

Does anyone know who our current Jag dealer sponsors are?

Does anyone know if an aftermarket rad is available, when searanch did his there was none available.

I am now on the hunt.

Since Searanch did his a few years ago and found no aftermarket suppliers I thought I was tied to the dealer for this. Not so, RockAuto now has them (I called to verify) for $100.00
O Reilly's has them for $160.00. just to name a couple.

Gaudin Jag still offers the best OEM price at $360.00 plus delivery.

FWI for newer STR owners. Remember the 06-08 is a much different animal than the 03-05. Don't take ANY websites info without calling. Many throw all the 03-08 in the same group. Not the case.

Bought mine for 389 w/free sh ....well worth s second look!.....I would definitely cross of the 1400 on unless it is made of gold and it cooks breakfast!

 

I replaced one on the 03 V6 a few years ago. Probably quite a different animal than yours, but at that time...I could find $100 ones all over the web - but none had the integral xmsn cooler. I had to go to the dealer. Don't remember now, but I think it was in the $400 range.

 

Use an old Ford Maverick radiator - it is a direct fit.
