Default Radio Problems.

My STR when i bought it had no radio. But I changed the rear bulb the other day and i saw that someone has the amp wires disconnected and cut and put speaker wires red and black all the way to the front behind the head unit. Now if i put a original system back in im guessing it won't have sound. Im going to the junkyard tomorrow to get a new climate control unit since that wont work but should i get a new radio or what?

I'd start by figuring out what is there and what is missing plus what you may have to do to change.

There are multiple existing threads about these sorts of issues plus the full workshop manual - lots of reading but you need to understand how it works and what's possible/hard/easy and you won't do that via a few posts (sorry) without the reading.

Everything is there besides the wiring harness end from the Amp to 2 inches of wiring and the main radio
