FYI Just swapped all the nuts over this week. New eBay ones fit perfect. I will see how good they hold up to the Florida monsoon season.

Had my wheels off doing a brake pad & rotor inspection.

The Lexus configuration Gorilla nuts are still "hanging" in there.

SS would be the best but I'm too frugal.

Don't laugh, but when I changed out my 10 "spoke" rims with replacement 5 spoke ones, the original lug nuts were too large in diameter. Guess what was on hand, and worked like a champion? Stock ones from a Ford Taurus (2003)!!!! Free! The car was headed for the junkyard. These were from the mag wheels, not the steel wheels using hubcaps. Donors are plentiful.

Repeated the inspection and flushed the brake fluid.

Nuts have a few touches of rust so not perfect but not objectionable.

These wheels are allegedly Jaguar replacements (standard size as the 10 spoke Sport ones). The lug nut wells were too narrow in diameter for the original 2-piece stock ones, therefore, thanks to FREE Ford Taurus SES ones, they fit perfectly, and allowed mounting of these rims.

I am nearly sure those are not S-Type rims, so that is likely why the nuts would not fit.

You might like to check the rims are suitable (e.g. strong enough) for the car...
