Anyone help with this, 2004 s type displaying restricted performance, will not go over 3000rpm, but once on the motorway goes off once warmed up and will go above 3000rpm, it comes and goes, not permantley on

 

What engine? Have you gotten the codes scanned?

 

It's a 3L petrol, codes on the way

 

Codes P0171. P0174, pending P1000

Hi, followed the link above had the job all ready to hand, mostly time really, so tried the reset button in trip A mode as seen elsewhere, so when restricted performance came on, pressed the reset button and it reset the mileage as it does but also reset the restricted performance warning not come back on for last 2 weeks, wasn't holding much hope out doing reset but it seems to have worked for now
