Default Restricted performance after tune-up

After tuning up my 03 v6, I'm getting a restricted performance light on. I do hear vacuum leaks under the hood. I had an issue with two of the intake manifold/plenum bolts that came out of the intake with the brass inserts. I placed super glue on the inserts and they appear to hold. I didn't replace the plenum gaskets because they sold me the lower intake gasket instead.

The RP light does not go off. In fact, at 3000 rpms, the car shutters as if the engine is governed. I also have noticed what feels like a drag from my rear wheels. I don't know if it is related or not.

This is exactly what should happen, the engine will not rev above 3000rmp. Its called 'limp home mode'. It gives you the ability to get the car to where it can be fixed without doing too much more damage.

Please get the codes read and post the results. With those codes we may be able to point you in the right direction.

After a cold-soak, preferably overnight, remove the upper inlet manifold and inspect the brass inserts. If the brass inserts have pulled out of the lower inlet manifold, you must take the manifold apart and make sure the inserts are correctly inserted into the manifold holes and held securely.

If you cannot get the brass inserts to remain in place, you will need to replace the lower manifold.

When reinstalling the manifold bolts, it is a good idea to place a small amount of anti-seize compound on the end of the threads. DO NOT over tighten the bolts or the brass inserts will come out again. Refer to the Workshop Manual for torque values.

Did you also replace the IMT o-rings with the updated green ones?

I think you more or less answered your own question, in the first post:

You can read hear about the codes you posted:

http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Auto..._OBD_II_R2.pdf

However, since those codes are all over the place, I'd suggest first repairing the known fault (audible vacuum leak) before reading too much into the other faults.

One thing at a time - read the codes and post to your other thread.
