Hiya guys when trying to overtake or accelerating fast (foot down) we get restricted performance showing on the dash and car goes into limp mode and i have to stop the engine and start up again to clear it. E.G. when reaching 2500-3000 rpm in third gear upwards this happens but not when slowly accelerating. To me it sounds turbo related which scares the hell out of me haha. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Danny.

 

No diesels in USA/Canada - you'd be better on the UK forum. Yes it's often turbo-related but the 2.7D has lots of problems only it suffers so check where there are lots of others.
