Hello,
This is my first post...
I just purchased a 01 S type 2 weeks ago and it didn't come with a manual!
So you can imagine that I am pretty clueless about some of the special functions that my new/used car offers.

Theres a button that I pushed, and now everytime I reverse it beeps.

What is that and why does it beep?
I suppose its a sensor or something but wanted to make sure.

it's on top, near the light.

 

Back up sensors. Does it beep as you're getting close to something, or constantly just beeping? If it's constant, then the sensors aren't working.

 

WHOA, thanks for letting me know.
it only beeps when i put into reverse, hasnt went beep beep beep yet from being too close to something.
i should test it out.

 

... And that big metal thing under the hood. You know, the thing that goes vroom. That's the engine. Lol Just kidding.

 

Make sure that you actually have the reverse sensors before you go testing it out... I would hate for you to back into a brick wall while waiting for the beep sound. lol

 

It beeps when you put in Reverse...If you are inside a garage.
