Hey all---I just bought a 00 jag s type, 60k, still under warranty until 100k...it is flawless, and was bought from the dealership 8 months ago-------NO PROBLEMS OR NOISES AT ALL.
BUT---when im parked on a hill, and have the ebrake up, when I get in the car drop the ebrake and start it----Go to put it in drive, it takes a lil more pull to get it through reverse than it does through neutral adn drive----almost like it gets sticky right there then normal again------is this normal if im parked on a hill, am i just being paranoid lol??? Thansk!

I'm not sure this will be of any help but before applying the emergency brake put the transmission in neutral, pull on the brake then shift to park. Doing it this way takes the strain off the transmission and puts it on the brake.
