Hello there, I am a new member and posted initially in the new members area.
I just bought a Jaguar STR 2005. I get the rich codes on both banks.
I ran the live data scanner and what puzzled me,was the fact that when I am not in gear and rev the engine the MAF values go up in a normal fashion.
But when in gear and step try to rev the engine, the engine revs just a little bit but the MAF shows 3 digit values( 125) the values are in metric sistem( grams). it jumps from 16-20 to 125.
is this OK? or it means the MAF needs replacement?
I already replaced the air filter and cleaned the MAF sensor.
at idling it shows normal values.
Any feed back will be usefull,
