How high do the RPMs go? How long do they stay there? Do they just die away steadily or all at once?

From engine starting to run, how long till it cuts out?

Sounds like you're going to need a stop-watch.

Start watching the PATS light. From ignition off, turn key to II. Watch the light for at least 10 secs. Keep watching the PATS light you crank and all the time till car dies and then another 2 minutes (leaving key in II). What does the light do (in detail)?

Put battery on charge at some point as you'll flatten it sooner or later with start attempts.

Is there plenty (at least 5 gallons) of fuel in it? Does the gauge confirm? (Maybe check using ETM.)

Do you have an OBD tool and if so are there any codes?
