So sometimes when I turn the car off I notice it sounds like a fan running still.... What is that?
Usually I just get back in start it and turn off again and it stops

 

Therre is a circuit that keeps the radiator fan running for some seconds after engine shut down, IF the coolant temp is at a high enough degree.

It is "normal" to a point, but I would be checking it out.

I came home yesterday, out in 42C and obviously A/C flat out, and shut the Black car down, SILENCE, so I know all is OK.

Is this since the belt fiasco, or a seperate enquiry??.

 

Um I never really noticed it until recently when temps got cold. Same token its been happening since I have no heat or partial heat ....

 

Maybe worth using OBD live data and read the ECT value.

Or... if your car is as hinted then use ETM.
