Wife came home and the psgr front window would not roll up the last 1". In my wisdom I thought I would press the unlock and hold it for 4 seconds to roll down all the windows and open the sunroof. Read about it here. Bad move. the window rolled down, crunched, sounds like glass broke and the sliders all broke. Hmmm...any suggestions as to what caused the original problem. Sounds like some sliders broke originally. Then when i rolled everything down, this window really blew up. I heard sounds of broken glass etc when it went down. There was a window there before I gave the command for all windows down.

Any insight is appreciated. New to forum.

Often you'd need a new regulator (window mechanism) but this sounds like might be glass as well. Quite a few threads about this.

Good to hear that, you know that you can use the Lincoln regulators on the early cars?
