I'm sure I will have no trouble selling the 14 year old, low mileage Jag with clean title.

I'm sure you won't either. Given that pre-face lift S-types are worth around $2-3K, that falls right into the price range of many teens looking for something to impress their friends with.

Again this is a 2002 s-type. Thanks.
Can't tell you how to revert to 12 hour time, but worse case scenario...learn to read 24 hour clock. IMHO seems like a smarter/simpler solution than selling your VGC well-maintained Jag.

The explanation was given already. Follow instructions... Again, you will see "12 hour" or "24 hour"...

Select "12 hour"...

I have a 2000 S Type... very simple procedure...

I am extremely capable of following simple instructions for a simple procedure, and have had no trouble setting the clock for 11 years. For whatever reason I am unable to select "12 hour" because it doesn't appear. Only "24 hour " appears.

My guess it that it is computer-related, because steering wheel/seat adjustment memory regularly slips out of setting. I am the only one who drives the vehicle.

I will take the vehicle to either my audio guy or mechanic, maybe one will be able to adjust/reset the computer.

With the additional information you have provided (seat / steering wheel adjustment memory), be aware that dying batteries cause all sorts of electrical, engine, and transmission issues in these cars. So how old is your battery? Believe it or not, a new battery may be all that your car requires....

+1 check the age of the battery especially with the other adjustment slipping issues you mention. These cars are every sensitive to having healthy 12V+ at all times...

In my wife's previous 2004 Lexus RX330 SUV, the first sign of a dying battery was the vehicle's clock automatically resetting itself to 1:00 pm anytime the ignition switch was turned off. A new battery immediately fixed that problem....

Very possibly all could be put right if you were to follow Norri's instructions up above.

Battery was replaced 6 months ago. It's warrantied for 5 years. Steering/seat adjustment not staying set has been troublesome long before battery replacement.

I would have dumped back then. ha ha ha

A few years back our S Type would switch to 24, but we could reset it. Just thought it liked to mess with me.
