Default 2002 STR Brembo discs

Hi, ordered off EBC after entering my reg info a set of discs for the car. On delivery I noticed that the discs are 355mm instead of 365mm. Can these still be used or is it better to return and order the 365mm. The discs when I ordered them didn't have width dimensions and did come under parts that fit my STR

cheers

No don't even try to fit those discs, they won't work.

Correct parts info for the Brembo STR and X350 are here ==> https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...r-x350-103513/

Welcome to the STR world! Very common to get the wrong disc. Those Brembo's are a bit rare!

I only use R1 Concepts rotor's. No cross drilling but I do like and use the slotted ones.

Not bad at about $100 per disc. They are much more expensive other places and don't even try Jaguar!

R1 Concepts Online Shopping - Shop for 2005,Jaguar,S Type.

Possibly referring to your car as a '2002 Type R' might cause a problem. There's technically no such thing as the -R did not exist with the pre-facelift cars.

Either '2002.5 Type R' or '2003 Type R' would be more accurate.

thats true mikey, although mine is probably one of the very earliest having being built 10th jan 2002 with a VIN that no one has since it is earlier than the various sites say,it ends with M45183

Yep, that's early! Some sort of pre-production I think.

You do indeed want the even bigger discs. And suitable pads.
