Default S-type 3.0 V6 Brakes

How much work is it to change my 2008 S-Type V6, 300mm rear rotors to the 326mm? I did try searching but came up empty. Thanks

rv, welcome to the forum. Might I suggest that you follow forum protocol and go to the "New Member Area" found here: New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum and introduce yourself. This will bring you up to full membership and has more benefits.

I do not recall anyone here over the years wanting to switch over the rear brakes to the 326mm on a V6 S Type. You may have some possibilities on searching out on the 4.2 versions instead. Also as I recall you need larger wheels to accommodate the 326mm.

As I remember as well the few who did post a similar questions gave up their quest due to the amount of work and money.

Good luck on your venture and if you proceed please take the time to post up pictures.

Thank you

Won't the caliper mounts have to change also?
