Hi All,

I tried to get my aircon (2000 S Type 4.0) regassed yesterday, with little luck. I'm in Zimbabwe, the guys here use a cylinder (like a gas cyclinder), they don't have a pressure-pumped system. Not enough pressure to fill the system, but also they couldn't find the low pressure connector, only the high. Is there a low pressure system that may enable gassing from a cylinder or must I drive 800km to South Africa? If there is a low pressure connection, where do I find it? Thanks!

 

I believe the low port is mounted on the compressor on the early models.
