Default Connector

connector off the right hand (drivers) side of the series 3 radiator, what's it for and where go too?
also I can see the temperature sender nub on the engine but it has no spade or connector? should i purchase and after market replacement or can I attach a 'spade link' or such to it and where/what is the cable that should attach to it.

Offhand I'd say that's the connector to the radiator-mounted thermo switch that controls the electric fan

I'm not sure if I understand the question.

But, the wire for the temp sender is usually green

I can see the temperature sender thing on the engine but it doesn't have a connector on it to attach a wire too .. does that make sense?

Who do the TWO PINS on the radiator's temperature plug as pictured above work?
