There are 2 batteries: big 1 for the car and tiny 1 for the alarm. Make sure big is OK.

Looks like the engine temp gauge is inop as well. Kinda hard to see with hands, a steering wheel and a sweater in the way...............

Make sure big battery in boot/trunk is fully charged

 

Sounds like bad main battery. Replace if so.
