Default S-Type Front left indicator

Hi guys i have problem with front indicator
computer shows me message LH fail...
so i changed the bulb, but without any results, it dont work, i swapped whole plastic thing where the bulb is mounted to right side and it works there...
any ideas - solutions.

my car s-type 1999 3.0 v6

It's usually the contacts in the bulb holder burned and not contacting properly.
A search will get you some info and possible solutions.

Don't forget your intro in the new members area.

i swapped left bulb holder with the right one, and thesame ..

Your turn signal assembly has failed. A test would be be when you apply the turn signal assembly and get the "LH turn failure" message - wiggle the stalk slightly up or down - the fail message will more than likely dissapear and the signal will flash as normal - also move your steering wheel assembly out and down - this might help as well.

You will notice when you get that message it also prevents your rear LH indicator light from working as well. (Found this out after fiddling and thinking it was the front LH bulb/holder....

I had the same issue - I changed out the turn signal assembly (quite easy to do) and no issues since.

I took the old assembly apart and the spring inside the assembly was clearly worn out on the left side causing the "LH turn failure" message...
