So I’ve been doing a little bit of research on aftermarket parts for my 2000 Jaguar S-Type and recently came across something saying that the early model S-Types and the Lincoln LS are extremely compatible (suspension wise). Is this true? And if so, why are there more parts for the LS than the S-Type?
Momma's Cornbread, there is a forum called lincolnvscadillac that has both an LS and LS Performance subforums. I find it helpful with questions like yours. https://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/forum/
BTW I have a 2004 Thunderbird that, like Lincoln LS, shares DEW98 platform with the original S-Type. I use Ford/Motorcraft LS Sport Suspension parts when Jaguar are not available. (and wish the the rare and fabled Lincoln LS "Euro" suspension parts were still available - my understanding is they were Jaguar parts - ie. Bilstein shock absorbers with Jaguar/Ford part numbers etc.)
My Thunderbird has Jaguar STR Zeus wheels made in Italy with Ford part numbers cast into them.

Some parts are interchangeable and some are not. Many engine parts are different as the cylinder heads and inlet manifold are different for the Lincoln 3.9 litre AJ-V8 variant. Some suspension parts may be interchangeable, but bear in mind that there may be differences in the bushes for ride and handling qualities that vary from market to market.

What suspension parts are needed?
Im looking for coilovers or just lowering springs. Something to get a more aggressive look
