Hi everyone, i'm new to this forum and the Jag Family. I just purchased a 2003 Jag STR with a blown head gasket on the driver side. has anyone had this problem, and can it be changed without removing the complete engine? Also anyone know how to rebuild the supercharger or where I can get it rebuilt?
Also any performance upgrades you guys can reccomend during this repair.
All your help is greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance

Well I have never heard of a car that required pulling the motor to do a head gasket except for maybe a Lamborghini or a Veyron.. I am almost certain that you can do it without.
As far as the supercharger goes: There are a number of things you can do while you have it off the car. A Kenne Bell or Magnusson upgrade is probably more than you want to spend, it is for me at least. On the more reasonable side you can send it out to Stiegemeier Superchargers and have them rebuild it, port it, and install a smaller pulley.

Haha I don't know brutal, it looks white on my computer, but it could have caught a reflection from the sun the day I took the picture and came out pinkish.. Rest assured that it is indeed as white as paper, I'm not driving around a "Mary Kay" pink Jag..
