Yep -- let me know if you are interested. Also, see if you can hold off another year before buying an R. I plan on selling mine next spring, and it should have around 32,000 miles on it

I love Iforged, but they're about 4 times my budget unfortunately....

Okay, so I'm about to order the 19's but I wish I knew more about offsets and stuff. I'm going to order the 19/8.5 with 38mm bs and 19/9.5 with 48mm bs on the rear. The rears are going to be the 5 on 114.3 and I'll have them re-drilled. If they can't redrill them, then I'll see if I can get my 18's refinished. We'll see. Wish me luck.

19" if you just want to plug and play. If you want to get your elbows dirty you will be happy with a 20". Give me a call I'm working on the same exact project. I'm also the sales and marketing director of Rush Exotic Wheels. I'll get you what ever you want, but I also have some suggestions that will broaden your selection.

I ended up going with 19's. I live in Laguna Village. I've been here for about 3 years now.

I'll hold onto your info. My girlfriend is going to be looking for wheels for her bmw 328 with the m sport package after the 1st of the year. We're remodeling my condo so it's on the back burner now.

If an XF (and I think XK) then the offset will be wrong.
Also, they sound bigger overall than stock so your speedo will be wrong.
Make sure they're suitable for the weight etc of the STR.
245 isn't wide enough for the rear of an STR. Spec is 275.

Thumbs up

Delusional, can you share the size and offsets of your rims? They're looking good by the way.

Thanks,
JG

I love my 19" BBS Barcelonas. I personally wouldn't go bigger than 19" only due to the ride quality. the 19"s ride pretty rough

My 4.2 not S/C. Went with 19" Moda R6, ET45 (discontinued) on 245/35/19.
I plan on upgrading the front brakes to OEM Brembos.

Default 19" and 20" still leave allot of room in the wheel well

No offense intended,,,,, the previous cars look great but the 19" and 20" wheels seem to go with a smaller tire wall to keep the tire diameter the same as the 18",,,, broken wheels and hard ride. To me this defeats the issue of the tires not filling the wheel well. You still end up with a large gap around the tire. I have an STR and have tried to buy larger aspect ratio tires for the 18" but they do not make it. I hate to spend $3000 and still have the large wheel well gap. The tire O.D. needs to be 1.5" larger to better fill the gap. Maybe lowering will help.
I wish the tire manufacturers would pay attention.

It's not the tire makers. They won't try to sell tires that most people cannot buy (due to them not fitting in the available space).
