I just got my 03 s type r about 1 month ago. I had a 98 xjr, but got into an accident and it was totaled. So far i love the car. But I have been wondering why the transmission seems to **** a bit before redline.

I tried disconnecting the battery, then reconnecting it. Take it for a spin flooring it everywhere. There were a couple instances where it hit redline and actually bounced off the limiter in 1st and 2nd... there was a lot of wheel spin. But after a few runs it goes back to shift at 5500. Anyone else wanna give it a try?
