Default s type v8 gearbox /fan problem

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ..
I have a v8 1999 s type
a gearbox fault has appeared along with the aircon fan being on full belt when the engine is running
has anyone ever had this before??
i have had the codes read and there are many which leads me to think its a wiring problem but i have spent hours checking all the usual loom places and can see no damage to any of them also removed ecu and all looks well,
It has been suggested it is a gearbox earth problem??? as to the nature of the fault codes present...
p0713 p0731 p0732 p0733 p0735 p0743 p0750 p0755 p0760 p0796 p1000 p01746 p01788 not many huh .. lol
any help would be fantastic as i am at my wits end
by the way car has done only 88000 miles

Sounds like you need a new battery....A failing battery will throw tons of crazy codes.

The fan running locked at high speed would seem to indicate the PCM has failed. That car has one module that controls the engine AND transmission. If the PCM goes south or looses it's mind, the fan goes to full speed; it's a safeguard because the PCM can't determine the engine temp so it defaults to high.

The same thing happens if a programming attempt fails, fan goes to high until the programming is corrected.

Good luck!
