S type wont turn over - Please help (Fixed)
HI Jag and all.. Yes they surely didnt take very could care of it.. The air filter looked ok from the top but once i pulled it out , it was packed pretty solid with dirt. i change all the filters and it runs beautifully , it performs like a West Point Soldier.. Thank you again, mack
HI Joyce and I went out the day it was running to take it around the block and well.. I was missing for about an hour and a half. I just kept going and going . It felt like i was riding on a cloud
Maybe a fried pin would cause [ PATS 24 ] code in my case.
I'm responding to add the PATS 24 keyword because he calls it fault 2-4 and I had a hard time stumbling upon it and the manual ends at 23. This will become an issue again and for others.

I'm told each port has a few resistors and so if it's not the connecting harness and pin that burned out it would be a few resistors that are easy enough to swap or order and replace by a qualified shop or handy do it yourself person.
We went back through the positively charged side and it never shorted to ground without the resistance of the solenoid and so the relays and fuses were fine at 10A and the EMS and so can't imagine where else it would be if this is the root of the problem. It just doesn't make any sense to say it hopped over the first failsafe and blew some other random relay but it's possible.
If people say it's the ECM, it's probably the ECM. A wiring issue that goes straight to ground would blow a fuse before blowing the PCM/ECM. The only way to do what I did would be to try to charge the non switched side of the solenoid by probing it from the back of the harness and using a test light to the battery. Otherwise, the two harnesses between them would protect the PCM and this would be a nearly impossible scenario we're facing. On the bright side, if I'm right it would tell us a little about our systems.

You're told? Who is this non-genius?
I think I want to stop trying to help as clearly you would rather listen to people who do not even know these cars!
Regardless, I wish you the best of luck as if you follow enough blind alleys you may get lucky eventually.

"non-genius" . There we have it. You're so full of yourself that you feel threatened by the electrical wiring expert and others suggestions.
Aside from that, I'm going to keep this thread going where I posted my own PATS 24 issue. Thanks for the battery advise it was good. Bye.
