Maybe you can give some more info, what exactly is (or is not) happening when you try to start it?

Not sure exactly, but I've had similar issues on other cars recently and turned out to be the tdc crankshaft sensor related issues.

Perhaps one ofthe X type Xperts can shime in and offer more relevant advice, but it may be worth checking?

David, I would first start with replacing the positive battery cable and seeing if that fixes anything. You can also use a jumper cable and connect it between the block of the car and the negative battery cable. If the car starts with the jumper cable installed (you are bypassing the negative battery cable that is currently installed), then you know you have a bad negative battery cable.

It is possible also that the relay for the starter is bad and you are not getting sufficient voltage to the starter for it to get full power.
