Question 1: need to replace both front seat covers for my 2002 S type 3.0
question Is....does the Lincoln LS seat covers fit my jag? and if not, does anyone have a source for replacement leather covers that are under $500 for both.

Question 2: can anyone tell me what they call this type of seat cover, it seems to have an extra piece of perforated leather running up the sides of the seat and back. (see pic) i'm pointing to the extra perforated leather in question.

thanks

No. The LS has different seats.

I have not found anything I would even put in my car. Have you talked to an upholstery shop? They can replace just the panel that is worn out. Might be better and not too expensive?

No I have not talked with an upholstery shop yet. been trying to find good quality covers. If start to replace just a few panels im concerned about color matching. but that might be the best and lowest price alternative.

thanks for the update about the LS seats. I was so close to buying a set.

Well the seats will bolt in fine but the covers from the LS won't fit the S Type. I would also be concerned the power seat plugs would be different but I don't know for sure.

The seat mounting pattern is the same so if you can get a cheap set it might be worth a try?

Only thing is I have a 2003 LS and a 2005 STR. The Jaguar has better leather and it is noticeable.
