Default Comp issue

I have a 200 S type 4.0, and the ac locked up. I took the care to a local repair shop. The car sat for 6 weeks before he started to work on it, now he is saying that it doesnt apear to have any compression? The car ran fine before the ac issue. He tried to start it, without the belt on just to move it into his garage. Any ideas?

Do a search using 'nikasil' and 'compression'.

Might be bore wash (Search for threads). If so, it occurs when a 4.0 is shut off without being warmed up properly.

Why did you let your car sit at the repair shop for 6 weeks?

+1 on the bore wash, I'll bet he's moved it around the yard shop to make space.

Do read the threads on bore wash as they also say how to fix it, which is essentially free.
