OK so I was in a parking lot picking a friend up and I went to take the jaaaag outta park into drive and it shifted way too easy than rolled backwards so I DONT PANIC. I shift back into park than reverse it works than park than drive it ahiftws very easy than back to normal....
What the hell is going on? I have no luck with this car.... Which I still love

Sounds to me like shifter mechanism has broken.

 

I'd guess not proofreading before hitting 'send' Maybe psell shecker turned off too?

Foot went off the brake
2002 s type sport 3.0 6 cylinder
I replaced the plastic cam shifter with metal 4 months ago....

 

Btw its been shifting normal ever since.
Could this be trans? Or just a fluke?

 

Doubt it's a fluke. I think cable adjustment is fiddly with the Ford box.
