Default Software Updates.

I was surprised to find out that ECU and TCU software updates are not covered by Select Edition. It's all out of pocket to do what they say is needed to fix their previous software mistakes. Just an FYI!

Actually I called Select Edition directly and asked after the dealer said that they weren't covered and SE confirmed. The dealer also said that there were a bunch of codes showing up and that they DID notice eratic shifting but that they have to clear out the codes and re check it later to see if any came back. I even tried to argue that that should have been done before it was certified SE but no luck. PS, This was a new dealer that I was trying because of the bad service that I got from the dealer that I bought the car from. At least these guy's didn't charge me for the diagnostics!! I'm beginning to believe that it's Jaguar that is tying the dealers hands on service.
