How do you tell if coil is good or not.

 

The usual suggestion is to get a new one and exchange with your coils one at a time until the misfire goes away. What makkes you think that it might be a bad coil?

 

engine cuts out when it is driving in the snow just for a second feels like a jerk forward, just hope it willl stop snowing car runs fine when dry this just started last week never had a problem driving in the snow, although i notice the spark plug coil was held on by a tie strap, the monkey who tuned it up must of broke the clip

 

i usually silicone them..

 

i used wire will that woork aswell, had no tie wraps around

 

The "techs" can go in there LOL. If you knew some of the things we have to do to fix cars.........
