On my way to pick up my Chinese food order, I spotted a S-Type...it's very rare to see any foreign vehicle in the town I live in besides your Mitsubishi's...Toyota's...I'd had seen this S-Type in town before a few months back...I don't think the owner lives in town...I actually wanted to stop and knock at the door it was parked at and ask if they would consider selling it LOL I've been wanting a black S-Type if you've read some of my post...anyone know the year and engine type based on the photos ?

Looks like a 6 cylinder but not completely sure?

I would bet its a 2000ish 3.0. The wheels suggest a base or 3.0 model and the front bumper is pre-2003 facelift.

Has the old grill which ended in 2002. The grill and 5 spoke wheels look exactly like my '01.
