i present myself : i'm 29 years old, i live in france and i have a jaguar s type r from 2004, full options.
i have a problem with my gearbox : oil leak but i don't know where : look the picture and can anyone help me?????

How do you know it has a leak?

 

what you mean? like in the photos i've posted, you see that there's oil, and i founded near the black connector and the bolts. i think it's a leak, i'm not expert, but my gearbox starts to give some littles shots when's cold, so i think it's beacause i'm losing oil.

thats why i need help, i think there is a leak, but where ? near the bolts or near the black conector?

 

and saturday i will change the gearbox oil and the filter, i hope that there will not be any leak

 

and that black connector , can i change it?? what is it? it's from the gearbox ecu?

 

You can and should change it - we call it a sleeve (electrical sleeve) on here. Read previous posts because they explain how to do it.
