Default STR wiring harness differences

Here’s a question for the experts. I’m aware that the engine harness will be different between the ‘03-‘05 and ‘06-‘08 STR, because of the addition of variable valve timing in ‘06. Is the chassis harness the same? I can’t leave anything alone, and I’m looking at ‘06+ engine/ECU swap as maybe being attractive because of the tunability of the late ECU. It might be easier to have someone get it running with a manual transmission. Swallows seems to have lost interest in their standalone ECU, which I understand, so I’m looking at alternatives.
So my thoughts are to swap in a 2006+ engine, harness, and ECU, if it’ll play nice with the chassis harness.

Look hard at the respective Electrical Guides, especially which modules are on which networks.

My guess is it'll be bad news.

I imagine Swallows lost interest as they still can't get it to work with the TCM. Might also be due to a lack of takers with the huge price they were charging !

you need the FPDM and a whole tank and lines from an XF or a late car..tcm is gonna have to be changed, probably need to change the abs unit and full booster.

this is probably easier on the x204 because the cluster fem and rem are all carried over..**** ton of work to have a 12 second car

manual trans has been done on the 32bit
