Default Sunroof compatibility
Anybody out there know if the sunroof mechanism from my 00 S-type will fit my 05? The dealer tells me the glass has the same part # but he was getting a different one for the mechanism. Thanks you any available help.

The X200 and the X202 are VERY DIFFERENT.

The glass roof panel might be the same but the motor/tracks are DIFFERENT.

Thanks. Do you know if the glass is the same Bob? I might be able to get away with replacing just the glass. The hood wasn't latched and the wind caught it. It destroyed the hood, windshield, damaged the roof, smashed the glass in the sunroof and broke a piece of plastic in the sunroof.

According to EPC they vary but some of the ebay sellers say they are the same.
