Default Supercharger pulley

Can a Ford Lightning supercharger pulley be used on the Jaguar. I plan on purchasing a 2.76" non slip pulley from Billet Flow. So far I think it does but I want to be sure before the purchase. Your help would really be appreciated.

I would be almost 100% certain it will NOT interchange. I would call a supercharger expert and go over your plans. If I decide to port my super charger I will use Stiegemeier. I suggest calling and talking to someone. Here is the website. Lots of good information and a phone number!!

Quoted from Real_Tech
We were installing a smaller blower pulley. It was actually for the Ford lightening which uses the same blower only the parts are less than half the cost of Jag labeled mods. Oops, was i supposed to say that?

I tried to PM Real_Tech about this a while back...never got an answer.

I'm pretty sure the pulleys offered by companies such as Paramount, Eurotek, and Eurotoys are probably 2.93 sized. This is assuming the factory pulley is 3.0' in diameter.

A 2.76 pulley would net a MASSIVE gain...however, I don't know how the factory belt and tensioner would cope with the downsize. Were you planning on getting a new belt? POssibly from Gatorback?

More insight into this topic would definitely be appreciated...

The 03-04 Ford Cobra also uses the M112 blower. So does the pulley also fit from the Cobra? That would be great news and give us Jag guys more options. I just have never heard anybody doing this?

Yeah I PM Real_Tech but got no answer so I posted a thread. Yeah the Cobra, Lightning, and Harley Davidson F150 use the same blower.

I assume you were referring to the "2.5 pulley" in his sig.

This is merely referring to the pulley offered by Eurotoys that is supposed to give an extra 2.5lbs of boost.

pretty sure a lightning pulley would work but the 03/04 cobra uses a larger pulley

assumming they all use the same blower, the offset would be the only thing that would differ right? But don't the different models for different cars use different length snouts to correct for that? What about buying a smaller used cobra pulley?

If my math is correct and the factory blower pulley is 3" and the factory crank pulley is 6" then stock boost is in the range of 9-10 psi.

so this pulley:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-...ht_3767wt_1165

This pulley is 2.8" which should equate to an increase of 1-1.5psi boost for 11-12psi.

from what i have read the cobra and lightning pulleys will fit our blowers seeing as they are all eaton M112 blowers. I was concerned about the offset but I think it is the same.

Good luck all, I will probably end up buying one of these pulleys and trying it eventually Seeing as how I have easy access to a pulley puller/installer anytime.

they are both M112 blowers, if you put them both side by side they look different, the snout, casting, etc. The internals may be the same but the way it mounts and the pulley, unfortunately, are not the same. It would be nice to pick up a spare ford blower if it was the same to port since you can find them cheaper then a jag one
