My new fav tire is the Hankook V12 Evo. Ive ran them on my last car and they were some of the best outside ps2s.

Get performacne shocks and springs, some brake pads with alittl emor ebite, and even switch to slotted drilled rotors(price isnt that bad for your car), and your handlig should improve a lot.

as for performance there isnt aht much to do depending on what engine you have.. however there is talk about a turbo kit that should work with both v6 and v8 cars ...get that!

Your cherry-red S-type looks exactly like mine -- except -- they won't let me have the ornament on the bonnet. Bugger.

Toyo proxes TR1s are brilliant too. I run them on my merc and BMW and are great. Goodyear Eagle F1s are on my s type and are also fantastic. I've heard good things about Cooper Drag radials too, but have yet to give them a shot.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Leedsman. Be just think of all the added injuries your are preventing for all those pedestrians you keep ramming into.

Running same brand tyre on 2003 STR for the last 6 months with outstanding handling and response however, this weekend I noticed that the rears have worn by 50% across the contact face; fronts are still perfect.

I've been driving cars and larger vehicles for 45 years now and I've not managed to hit anyone yet. European legislation prevents us having a bonnet ornament in UK. Bugger.

I am running the Eagle F1 on my X Type and so far so good. I have about 4000 miles on them. There are some mixed reviews on the web but I liked the aggressive tread pattern along with the A/S aspects. I started out with a Yokohama S Drive that looked great on the car but I decided I did not like the aspect of running a summer tire year round so I took it back to Discount Tire and asked them to change it out for me, which they did.
