Default Sway bar bushing size

Hello gentlemen, I have done a seach here and have not found out if anyone knows what size the sway bar is on the front bar of an 02 s type. I looked at crocodile62's posting about sway bars and he said that the front sway bar is 32mm on his 03 str. Is this also the size of the 02 front bar? I was looking into replacing the bushings b/c my car has a clunking sound when going over bumps and everyone says to change these first before trying the more expensive control arm bushings, when sounds brilliant to me. I want to buy the energy suspension universal bushings, has anyone used these with success or is oem the way to go? The universal bushings from ES come with brackets that i'm not sure will fit, any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Unless you want to take your old bushing and bracket off to measure, and measure accurately, I'd just stick with the OEM bushings. They may not last as long, but you'll avoid any inconsistencies in size. Maybe you're feeling froggy...

THE NEW STYLE jAG BUSHINGS That have been out for years are the goods ones, they have a seperation cut in the side instead of the bottom like the bad ones. DO NOT lube them you will ruin them. Install dry, and to check if sway bar bushing, sway the car side to side with the steering wheel while driving slowly down the street. If if clunks while rocking side to side, its the bushings, throw some new end links on too while youre under there

Thanks for the info guys, sounds like oem is the way to go. I am going to test out the bushings first via brutals method and then replace them with oem if need be. Thanks again and btw I called ES service and they had absolutely no idea of anything jaguar...go figure.
