I'm looking at the 2004 and 2005 S-type color and trim guide from the factory brochure, the darker British Racing Green is a solid paint and the brighter jaguar racing green is a metallic. There is also Seafrost metallic that has some green in it. There wasn't, as far as I could tell, any color that was exclusive to the str.

Well I like the british racing green (the darker coloured ones) I don't like the light green colour at all. Take a look at riski's car, drop dead nice.

JAGUAR RACING GREEN is a brighter metallic green that was developed as being more telegenic for the ill-fated Jaguar F1 adventure circa 2000 A.D.

JAGUAR RACING GREEN is a brighter metallic green that was developed as being more telegenic for the ill-fated Jaguar F1 adventure circa 2000 A.D. (Google Image: Jaguar F1). It was also an option on some street cars. I'd recently seen a classified adv. in one of the motoring magazines for a 2007 XK coupe in JRG. I hadn't known the color/colour was available then. (Not to be confused with metallic or enamel British Racing Green, Botanical Green or any other name for dark Racing Green. You're welcome.
