Default Throttle Body and tps repaired on jaguar s type 4.0 2001 . engine fail safe on still

I just had my throttle body tps repaired, but when I drove, the fail safe engine display came on again. Though it didn't slow down and stop, the light flashed often. What else could it be. Please help

We need code(s) in order for us to point you in the right direction. Also, check battery voltage. Make sure your battery is fully charged. Which light was "flashing"?

If it was flashing MIL, that's bad misfires that are damaging the cat(s).

I forgot the code and since I had the part fixed the check engine light is off but the fail safe engine mode still comes on I think it was p1576 not sure. I was told the new part had to be reprogrammed.

You’re not listening.

The codes are the key. Stop throwing parts at it because that's too expensive.
We are all just guessing on the internet and we must have some real codes to work with.

Go to the parts store and get the codes read for free. Write the numbers down and ignore what the guy says they mean at the parts store. Make sure that the last thing he does is clear all the codes you currently have.

Then come back and post them here.
