Er.... post is nearly 8 years old.... best left alone really, unless you're going to post useful new details.

 

Shop costs with parts for timing chains and tensioners is about $24-2700 here. A new water pump should be done anyway after that long. Simple job and very easy to get to. Caution, the tube above it has orings. they break down and while you are doing the water pump, put in some new seals there too. The rear view mirror is made by Sybesma Electronics. You can send your mirror to them and they will rebuild it for about $95. Then it is brand new again.

 

If you did not do the complete repair which is the primary and secondary tensioners as well as the rails and all 4 timing chains. You are living on borrowed time.

They will fail. This is a known problem. So good luck!
