Default Totally Confused

Hello All, I am the owner of a 2003 S-Type 4.2 V8. The other day while driving my ABS Light came on followed by DSC not available. OK I went to O'reillys and had a code reading done and 4 different ones came up. PO333,P1111,PO105 and PO460. Aftyer reading the results i am finding that none of these codes mentions anything about ABS and DSC fault. Is there anyone out there can help me with this dilemna.Thank you..The Music Man

When working with codes that have an electrical bias, it is always bets to check battery condition first. It may start the car but leave the car electronics confused!!

If the battery is giving over 12.5 volts buy a battery tender and leave charging for 24hrs, clear the codes and see what reappears?

If lower voltage buy a new one?

+1 may well be failing battery or needs a proper charge

N.B. those PO codes are P0 codes in case you want to Search for them (here, the free workshop manual w/ codes manuals, the net, wherever).

Likely the battery, but you won't find ABS/DSC codes with the standard "freebie" scan at an autoparts store. Those will be "C" or chassis codes requiring specialized hardware/software capabilities. Read the OBDII threads for a discussion of which devices will do it.

+1 on the i930. Ditto on battery check. Many systems/sensors throw codes when the battery is beginning to go flat, or even the slightest amount of corrosion on the battery posts.
