Default traction control light flashing

Hi All,

i'm having a problem with the traction control light flashing on the dash.

The console was taken off to deal with a shifter assy issue and the plug has to be removed attaching the traction control button. Ever since the plug was put back in the light flashes, whether the control button is on or off. Also, cae is throwing code 1277

Any ideas

Could be a faulty ABS speed sensor. They are often known to go bad.

Default traction light flashing

understood. i find it odd that the light did not flash until after the console plu was disconnected and reconnected. Does anyone know if disconnecting and reconnecting it would cause the traction contol to need recalculation?

thanks

Sounds very unlikely. Maybe badly connected or pinched / partly sliced through.
